When I first saw this book was about a car, I wanted to make sure it was written by someone who knew something about cars. Hey, I wouldn’t read a book about pizza if the author didn’t know anything about pizza! Apparently, though, this Dale Earnhardt, Jr. has some experience behind the wheel, so I gave it go. Turns out, he knows a lot about cars and a good deal about storytelling. The tale centers around a race car named Buster, who’s going through some confidence problems. Every time he races he gets nervous and screws up. Joining a new race team doesn’t help either, but a piece of advice from his friend allows Buster to redeem himself on the track by learning to be there for others. It’s a humorous tale that will rev your heart’s engine. Now, about finding a book about pizza…
