I should not have trusted that pigeon. If I had actually read the Gingerbread Man story, I would have known that running foods should avoid crafty animals - be it a country fox or a city pigeon. I don't want to spoil the book's ending, but let’s just say Penelope has a starring role. I do not like sharing the spotlight. Whatever, nobody likes pigeons, but everyone loves yummy ME.
