The Crayons are at it again. This time it's holiday differences they have to settle in this hilarious, holly-filled new book. Now, being the running pizza that I am, I know all about starting trouble. So, I recognized immediately that Green was creating tension by declaring that the color green and the color green alone defines Christmas. Well, the other Crayons were never going to take that lying down (and potentially rolling off the table, as crayons do). Beginning with a very offended Red, each color takes a turn giving their case as to why they are Christmas. White, Brown, Silver, and others back up their arguments with a number of Christmasy examples, all of which are true and convincing. Not to give anything away, but in the end, the Crayons come to a realization that stops the argument but leaves everyone happy. I love endings like that. By the way, does my own Gingerbread Man-inspired tale end well? Does anyone know offhand? I'm curious.
