Being a pizza, I've never felt the need to catch a mermaid. However, after reading this catchy rhyming tale (tail?) I might just give it a go. (I'll be sure to avoid sharks, though - which is good advice for any situation, really). The two young main characters try many different methods to catch this unnamed, mysterious mermaid, but it doesn't work. (If it was easy, I guess mermaids wouldn't be special.) They follow the mermaid through an enchanted underwater mermaid city, where the wonder (and danger) go up a few notches. It's a story with captivating illustrations and rhymes that will get stuck in your head like hot gooey cheese sticks to the top of a pizza box.
