First off, who's telling these children how wonderful they will be. As in, who is literally talking in this book. I can't see any mouths moving on the page. Weird.

 

Aside from that weirdy weirdness, this tome is lovely and inspirational. The illustrations are as warm as melted cheese and cozy as a calzone. I just wanted to pinch the cheeks of each little kiddo in there and ride off into the sky holding on to the balloons in the book - especially since fewer people can eat me when I'm in the sky.

 

Anyway, the message in the book is one every child should be exposed to: there's a big world out there, and you can be anything in that big world you want to be. Yes, there is a vast world out there with many places to run and a lot of pizza to eat!
